EN 531 - Protection Against Heat & Flame

EN 531 is the harmonised European standard for protective clothing for the industrial workers exposed to heat (excluding firefighters and welders clothing). The following categorisation states performance levels:

1. limited flame spread
2. protection against convective heat
3. protection against radiant heat
4. protection against molten aluminium splash
5. protection against molten iron splash
